"Because it's so broad that the way in which you respond

think. I love doing this kind of things and i want to inspire others to
express themselves in a positive and peaceful way and it makes me happy," ungkap John yang kini juga bekerja sebagai Barista di Dubai, Uni Emirat Arab ini.
Bagi John Tan, dunia entertainment tidaklah semudah yang dibayangkan orang. Banyak hal yang harus dilalui, mulai dari intimidasi hingga pujian. Meski banyak ketidakadilan di dalamnya, namun tetap saja dunia entertainment itu menyenangkan baginya, tergantung bagaimana seseorang menjalaninya.
"Being in this industry is not that easy, from the intimidating bashes to
overwhelming compliments. You have to understand that the entertainment
field is grossly unfair, but it is also exciting and rewarding. It will
mold you as a person. It's up to you on how you will take it or absorb
it," jelasnya.
Sama seperti orang-orang pada umumnya, John Tan yang menjadi finalis Mr. Instagenic ini mengaku hidupnya sangatlah simple. Ia lebih senang berada di rumah, meski kadang keluar untuk menonton film ataupun jalan-jalan bersama teman-temannya.
"My lifestyle is very simple. I go to my work
place and return home. I prefer to stay at home. Sometimes I do go out
to watch movies or go for trips with my friends. I also like to eat out
on weekends or holidays. Overall it is a very simple life," katanya.
